“Ana Santi is asking the most crucial of questions we all need to address right now: in the face of the climate and ecological crisis, what is it that I am to do? Future generations, if indeed they are around to ask this, will look upon our generation and ask: ‘how could they let this happen?’. Ensure you have an answer that you can live with.”

Dr Gail Bradbrook, co-founder, Extinction Rebellion, on my book: Three Things to Help Heal the Planet

Three Things to Help Heal the Planet is my non-fiction debut - a collection of essays on how to collectively tackle the climate and ecological crises when directed by global experts. You can buy it here (or, even better, your local bookshop).

What the experts said:

“We may be on different stages of our sustainability journeys but we can all help one another: inspiring each other; sharing knowledge; and using our spending power to vote for a better future. Three Things makes it as simple to sustain as possible.”

— Melissa Hemsley, chef and Fairtrade Foundation ambassador.

Three Things is a wonderfully inspiring and educational provocation to readers, brands and industries alike; above everything the book is asking us to think differently and look for better solutions. Contributing to this book is a real honour.”

— Christopher Raeburn, fashion designer.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this project as there’s nothing I love more than sharing stories that might inspire a (low-energy) lightbulb off in people’s minds, demystifying something complicated such as carbon emissions, and talking about what can seem technical or geeky in a light-hearted or upbeat way.”

— Juliet Kinsman, author, travel journalist and founder of Bouteco.

What happens when you ask women writers to abandon the themes and forms that feel safe to them…? I turned fashion brand Jigsaw into publisher with the launch of Comfort Zones, a collection of original stories by 28 women writers including Pandora Sykes, Elizabeth Day, Emma Gannon, Funmi Fetto and Anna Jones, for the charity, Women for Women International.
